California has gotten it through the first committee to pass a law demanding GMO salmon to be labeled if this frankenfish is approved for consumption by the FDA. The US has finally acquiesced to the WTO Codex guidelines for labeling of genetically engineered ingredients! How will the US respond to this in action? Stay tuned. 95% of Americans that know what GMOs are want labels! Keeping GMOs out of Organics - someone is always trying this slime. Hold back the Frankenfish - They haven't approved it yet. We have to be ready if they try again. We slowed them down from steamrolling this through. Pull out the beets now! - the Judge ordered the illegal sugar beets pulled. USDA was ruled against. Will they somehow sneak this crop in? They would have to get an Environmental Impact Statement that is "acceptable." The Alfalfa EIS was NOT acceptable! How much will that matter? Remember, not all agencies, departments or branches of government agree with each other. The court system is proving that! Americans are eating cloned GMO cows if they're not eating organic or 100% grass-fed. |
